are there really 38 episodes in princess tutu?

everyone keeps saying 'up to episode 38'
i thought there were only 26 episodes.
okay, now i'm confused T.T

No, there aren't. There are only 26, but some of them are split in two parts, so that's why they may seem more than they actually are. Trust me on this one, I have the series ;)
