I would defiantly go on it purely to see if they is anything I could do better for my family . It does amaze me when some of them won't follow the rules when all's said and done they are only following someones rules for only a week . Then they get their rule change the second week.

However some of the rules i would hate to have to follow and more then likely would do and grit my teeth. love the show though most probably for the wrong reasons . i like the arguing .

I would like to go on it coz usually one family comes across really badly and the other really well, so i'd go on to try and be the good one! lol, might not happen though. i think the reason they dont play by the rules is because they don't realise when they apply for the show that they're bound to get put with a family which is opposite to theirs, so they obviously don't think its gonna be such a radical change. also, if they did follow all the rules, it wouldn't make such good TV! i can't wait to watch the one tonight which made the news! the other day one woman threw a glass of water on the other! not very mature!

I have a friend who co-produces the show. She said it is amazing how many people want to go on, mostly because the show is a sucess because everyone watches it. I wouldnot go on it, because again, why would I want someone to live in my lap of luxury, ( not that I'm rich or anything), but it sure looks like it by the way some of these slobs live. I amnot going to clean someone else's filthy toilet bowls and eat meat that hasnot been refrigerated, while someone else lives with my clean neat husband and puts their discusting mouth on my silverware. Never for a million dolaars. hmmmm well, maybe two million, who knows.

I wouldn't go on it. It amazes me that the people are not willing to play by the rules after all that's the point of the show. However when you decide to go on a show like that, surely you must realise that they are going to put you with a family that is the complete opposite to yours and there are going to be arguments after all that is what the show is all about

I might go on it, but it would be wierd.
That is how people are. Plus that is what sells, if everyone played by the rules, no one would watch the show. I know it's dumb, but that is how it is. I agree though, if you aren't go to play by the rules and try and learn from the experience then what is the point?

I wouldn't....but people are in it for the money and think it's an easy ride, living with somebody else for that long...it's the same with all reality tv....just look at Big Brother....you can't put people in a house together for that long, without consequences....that's why i don't watch reality tv anymore, because people laugh or comment on things that are situational not dispositional (meaning they'd do the same thing in that position).

No, I wouldn't go on it.I have enough trouble with my own family, let alone, taking on another family!
Conflict is the name of the game. when it comes to these so-called "reality" shows.
Two totally opposite families are supposed to "improve" by switching moms but, they fail to take into account that there is another adult (with their own opinions) that has to be able to express their opinions on family rules, hence the conflict.
They go on the show for the "fame" and the money.

People are choosen to go on shows like that who will clash and they are told to act up to get ratings.
The whole show is fake as is most of the so called reality shows.

I would but they would. Since the premise of the show is to put you into homes that completely different from yours I would end up living with some filthy family with no manners and bad hygiene.
