i have a friend, and we are both in the school drama club. I was stage manager for the musical, and she was a stage hand. whenever the teacher had a time change to make, i had to call everyone. they were all cool with it, except my friend , who would go off screaming about how she already knew and that i told her things more than once. she has never accepted my other friends, and whenever i was with one of them, she would just tell me how immature we were. Then we were backstage., and i tripped and broke my finger. i aked if someone could cover for me for 5 minutes while i went to get something to wrap it up with. she told me to suck it up and take it like a man. twenty minutes later, she scraped her hand against a wall and started screaming and asking for someone to do her job so she could leave. jokingly, i said suck it up, and she went nuts. the past few weeks, she has been trash talkin me to my friends and others, and she has been trying to take my friends from me. What can i do?

Other things: Im pretty sure she has family problems, because her sister is a drug addict, and her parents are heavy smokers. Also, she had some random person make some weird threat on myspace. Also, every time i have tried to talk to her, she just starts screaming or yelling again.

Definately do not keep your mouth shut. She's used to getting things her way and she'd probably be very surprised to be spoken to like a child for once. She has control issues, and being someone who can relate to that I can say it feels really good when somebody else takes the reigns. Sounds like a responsibility, it's more like don't tolerate her bs, make sure to call her out when she's over-reacting or just being cruel. Unless of course you like being treated this way.....

Forget about her -- she's not your friend. She will drive everyone away with her dramatics. Don't be fooled into thinking other people will believe her. People are smarter than that and don't like to be misled either. She'll self-destruct in a short time so I'd make sure I wasn't around when it happened. If your so-called friends believe her, then they're not your friends anyway. You know, none of this stuff is more than minor anyway. So she's nutso, fuhgettabouter.

There are two likely causes:
1. Problems at home.
2. Mental Instability due to school and social stress

About the trash talking? Well, eye for an eye. She sounds determined to be your enemy, so I would take steps to cut her off socially. You could even just tell your friends what you've told us. And, confront her! Demand an explanation for her behavior.

Tell her, I mean really tell her to FU*K OFF and Die! And grab her hair and punch her breasts while your at it. I,d do that.Make sure she,s near her cycle when you hit her breasts. They,re perfect to hit at that time.
