If your computer restarted itself all on it's own you may have a bad power supply inside your computer. If you have a desktop you can purchase and install a new power supply. Has this happened before? You should notice the computer shutting itself off at random and this could be another hardware related issue outside of your computer. Perhaps the socket you are plugged into. But usually random reboots are due to power failure either the socket or the power supply unit in your computer.

You'd have to see if you can duplicate the shutdown. Does it shut down only on the web or even off the web or only at that site you were viewing. If you duplicate the shutdown and it always occurs within a few minutes of booting, then the cpu is overheating. You need a new fan. The power supply can also be a problem. A virus can shut you down every time you attempt to get on the internet. So pick your poison and good luck.

It is very likely that a virus got into your computer. Once you power on your computer, it will load ahead of processes and startups. It may possibly disable your anti virus, Task Manager and Run command line.
Try going into safe mode and scan your computer preferably twice w/ different anti-virus.

It might be a power supply issue, but I have a sneaky suspicion its a virus related issue. If you don't have macafee or norton on your computer i recommend you download one or the other, not both. Download.com has some great, free virus and spyware programs.
