My sister's nagging voice.
I don't see why I have to phone people without a current conversational protocol in operation (I'm aspergic, bear with me) but she seems to think that I should ring her at least once a month just so she knows I'm still alive.
She seems to think that the mere fact that we had the same parents should mean something to me, as does my brother.
I go to visit my brother once a year - at Christmas because he insists I do so and comes through (a 15 minute car drive) to get me to make sure I get there. He is allowed to visit me only when there is a gift-giving protocol in the offing (birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas).
I last visited my sister almost three years ago and stayed for 36 hours (I in Sunderland, she in Kent) because she insisted that her 25th anniversary celebrations wouldn't be the same without me ... so where was the rest of the family then? Except her husband and children, I was it ... no brother, cousins etc
Anyway, before that, it had been 12 years since I'd been down. She seems to think I'm going down this year ... she can think all she likes.
So the word 'ring' is actually ... "Ring (me)!"

A weird horror film I saw earlier this year about a video; 'The Ring', which apparently killed the viewer 24 hours after watching it.
Not exactly Stephen King material, but interesting.
