No I feel those who judge me are the stupid ones and they usually are also the ones who won't even make an effort to speak another language in the first place...

In countries where English is the first and only language there is no worry - to step outside your comfort zone in language when you are foreign to english - stupidity is not a word that comes to mind.
To make the effort to bridge a language gap will always make a difference - sense or not !

Not when I'm at home. My husband is German, I am American and our son is bilingual. We speak a weird mix of German and English at home.

nope that makes me who iam i am proud and that are one of the qualities which make me uniqe, if i feel stupid for a simple correctable thing like this...iam just bringing my self down its a waste of timee
