Washington, it is easier to be second than first, the hardest part being leaving office without having the mob through one out. Washington set the presedent by stepping aside for Adams. Without that who knows what would have happened.

Try naming the military leaders that led a revolution, became the government head set a course then stepped down for the next guy. You will suprised at how many just could not step down.

You didn't say which country ? APJ Abdul Kalam the current President of India is the most beloved President of all. And another one that I Looooooooove is Ex American Prez Bill Clinton -He is so charismatic and charming. And he sure was better than the present US Pres.

There is a best president for each country, but you did'nt specify which country..In india, I can say that, the present A.P.J. Abdul Kalam..he is an extrodinary person, who have improved India in many ways..

that said, best American President, Abraham Lincoln, brave enough to hold the Union together when so many others were willing to see it rent asunder for the continuation of slavery.

Ronald Reagan whose bravery, courage, and principles helped to bring down Communism in Eastern Europe including in Russia, and without a shot being fired. He was a man of great principles and strength!!
