You can start them, but you will need to use additional contraceptive cover for 10-14 days.

Yes, but you'll need to use back up contraceptives for 7 days. If you started your pills on Thursday, you wouldn't need to....so says the pill information pamplet! (Unless you are outside of North America, then it may say 10 or 14 days depending)

i am in the same boat.. but i am on bc already... but for some reason my period cam e really late this month ( and no im not prego) i am going to start mine back up again on sunday... i would too if i were you.. you might spot for a few days though... your body has to get used to the pill so carry tampons or pads with you...good luck!

It is probably going to be ok but double check with your dr. If your insurance company (if you have insurance that is) offers a 24 hour nurse line you can call I would recommend checking with them til you can get a hold of the dr on Mon.

I just looked up yaz instruction leaflet, there is a pdf download, interesting reading, so many things you should be aware of before you start taking it and relying on it as a contraceptive
