I do agree with two of your selections which are both post players, Tim Duncan at C and Carlos Boozer at PF. Both of them were consistent throughout each of the first two rounds. Not only did they pile up the stats, but they rebounded, defended well, and really controlled the paint. I would have picked Stoudemire, but he was only a force on offense. He's got to learn how to defend better. In the PG position, I'm going with Tony Parker over Steve Nash because I thought he executed better against the Suns than Steve Nash did against the Spurs. Steve Nash was a non factor in Game 6. I was surprised you left Lebron James at SFoff the list. Without him, the Cavs would not have survived either of the first two rounds. He hit many clutch shots and made huge plays whenever New Jersey was trying to make a comeback. When you add points (25.9), rebounds (7.8), and assists (8.1), Lebron's combined total average of the three has been more than anyone in the playoffs. It was really hard leaving Baron Davis off the list because he was phenomenal in the series against the Mavericks, and even in a few games with the Jazz. But I wanted to pick a SG who was vital in leading their team into the final four. I was going to go with Richard Hamilton, but he wasn't as effective on defense as he was on offense, so I decided to go with Manu Ginobili. He played with passion and intensity on both offense and defense and had three monster games against the Suns proving Robert Horry's absence as irrelevant. It was hard leaving players with incredible stats like Baron Davis, Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Carmello Anthony, Steve Nash, and Amare Stoudemire, but I wanted to pick players that made winning plays when it really counted, players that took it to the next level to lead their team to the final four.
