rachel - terrorists have been attacking our interests for longer than Bush has been in office.

I used the "over thirty year mark" to stress the more modern attacks. If we were to get historically accurate, one could argue we have been getting attacked by Middle Eastern "terrorists" since the Barbary Pirate raids of the late 18th century.

All of those plus the fact that America has been known, on more than one occasion, to interfere in the internal running of sovereign nations including the assassination of heads of state that don't suit them. That tends not to endear you to some people.

In the Islamic faith anyone that opposes there brand of religion is called an infedel.
We are considered heathen that are laden down with debauchery.
They also lay claims to the same land as the Jews now posess, it is interesting that they both claim Abraham as their father.
The terrorist have been attacking American interest since before world war 2, in the Phillipines they staged an attack that was put down violently so violent that no terroist attack happened for almost 30 years.
Makes a very interesting read.

I agree people just don`t seem to do there research or know there history we have ignored the terrorist for more than 30 yrs and we are surprised that we a attacked on 911 we should have been taken care of business long time ago. Instead we put all the blame on Bush trust me there is enough blame to go around for all parties no just good ol Bush..

I would choose no3, the US interference in the internal affairs of the other states is a big problem and the governments do that one after another and this policy doesn't seem to b e changing, and they do it under some slogans like liberity and saving people while they abuse people in Abu gharib and Guentanmo and the suuport of Isreal to kill more arabs in Lebanon and Palestine, the intention to be fair when dealing with the arabic-isreali conflict didn't and don't seem to exist soon, the list is too long to be written here.

Maybe because of the governments perceived anti-social 'foreign policies'. Kinda like the U.S. held the Japanese people accountable for their governments military actions when the U.S. cut off their oil and put their 'NATIONAL SECURITY' at risk, The U.S. used atomic weapons on a civilian population for their choices...kinda leaves the door wide open after acts like that.

Terrorists are attacking the United States for its presence in the Middle East and for supporting Israel which is against their religion.

I believe it is number 4.

Terrorist nations hate the fact that corporate America has pervaded their culture, and has caused its younger citizens to rethink the old and archaic values advocated by the government and the Elders.
