I think this is a joke!
The Supreme court of India said that police is a gang of organised criminals but police never filed any defamation case.
Criminals never faile such case.

The person who is defamed would usually file a criminal complaint u/S.500 IPC at any Magistrate's Court praying for process to be issued. The Magistrate after considering the complaint will either issue process or refer the complaint for I&R u/S.202CrPC to the police of relevant jurisdiction. After the police submit their report, the magistrate may issue process or dismiss the complaint u/S.203 CrPC. Under CrPC any one who has knowledge of the commission of an offence could also technically file the complaint u/S.500IPC but it is unlikely that the magistrate would take cognisance in this event. You can also file a civil defamation suit after issuing notice to the other side, but in case you decide to proceed, you will have to pay court fees commensurate with the damages claimed.

C. The Policeman being referred to as criminal can file a case in court against any person for defamation if the allegation is not true. The proper party is the person who sustained damage of his reputation and it is the policeman.

A defamatory statement made in court is not prosecutable; however, if it is untrue, then the witness can be charged with perjury and be sentenced to jail time.

I don't quite understand your query; I hope that this information has helped.
