It all depends on the kind of show and age group. If you're DJing a wedding (like I did tonight), anything from disco to today's hits might work. Some popular songs are "It Takes Two" by Rob Base & DJ EZ, Nelly's "Hot In Herre", Usher's "Yeah", Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back", House Of Pain's "Jump Around", etc. The Cha-Cha Slide Part 2 by Mr C The Slide Man is a good line dance. Older hits like "Brick House" by the Commodores and "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry are almost always crowd-pleasers. Search Amazon.com for ideas too!

Anything funky to dance to and maybe a couple of remixes.
I suggest songs from Madonna, Rihanna, Michael Jackson.
Some techno and popular stuff that gets people on the dance floor.
Good luck! =D
