The presidential candidates are pathetic. I can't find anything that I like about any of them. Should I just abstain from voting?

I dont like most of them either. Theyre all cookie-cutter typical politicians. A lot of talking and saying nothing, alot of vote-whoring, etc etc.

I'm supporting former Sen. Mike Gravel, because I feel hes the best possible choice for President. Find the one you feel is best for the country, and support them. Or write in a vote or something like that.

I didnt vote in the 2004 elections because Kerry and Bush both disgusted me, and now I regret that. I shouldve voted for Kerry, even though he wasnt really any better than Bush, I dont think we'd be in this much of a mess if Kerry had been elected.

Do what you feel is best, but do check out Gravel's campaign if you can. He needs all the support he can get.

It's a bit early yet. Try to keep up with what the candidates are saying, (or not saying).
Have you heard what Ron Paul is saying about the Internal Revenue, the Federal Reserve and the Iraq war?
He is different from every other candidate in that he is totally in favor of smaller government and greater individual liberties for all Americans.
Unfortunately because he doesn't follow the "party line", corporate and Republican Party interests are attempting to censor him.
But Ron Paul is an idea whose time has come. He has the answers for many of our problems. Check him out on the net.

You should be aggressive enough to find a candidate that you like. If you can't do that much, you should roll around in your ignorance and not vote.

There are literally hundreds of presidential candidates. Most of them are meaningless, and most will drop out before the election, but the final ballot will have at least 20 to choose from. I can't believe that you can't find any. But if you fail, at least write in your own name.

This might sound funny but true. You only waste your vote if you don't vote. If you don't like any of the Presidential candidates, maybe you should try looking at third party candidates. If none of these please you, write-in your option. If you feel like voting, go ahead. If you don't, no problem. Please don't feel pressured to vote but just think that the 2008 election is going to be a turnpoint. And your vote might just count. Good luck and thanks!

Think of it this way: if you don't vote, it is almost like voting for the candidate you like least.

For instance, if you would vote for Hillary because you are a registered Democrat, and you like her policies, but don't like her smile; and abstain from voting; you are, in effect, voting for her opposite, the Republican candidate.

Get out and vote! Vote for the lesser of the evils.

Have you really looked at all of them??? There are some that are under the radar. They don't have a chance of winning, but you still get to vote. Find a candidate that doesn't have what it takes to win, and has similar political views.

If your not going to vote for anyone, the very least you can do is Write in a vote for Ralph Nader. At least that way you are not just not voting. You are throwing away your vote and making a statement at the same time.....
