How will you look at age 65? Will you wear purple?

Ageing is a question which has obsessed scholars and authors for centuries.

It is something which I thought about the other day when playing for a group of Westminster residents an interview I did with Alfred Hitchcock in 1972.

Hitch was then age 73. I was age 29.

He had suffered the first of his major heart attacks and was wearing a pacemaker.

His career at Universal was just about finished (Donald Spoto`s book probably finished it); and yet he was kind, supportive, risque and very, very generous.

I must say I myself have weathered rather well as I am now age 64.

So what kind of a senior citizen will you be?

I will probably be a crotchety old coot with a soft spot for fuzzy animals.

I am already a senior citizen and an old far*!!
I, like your self have aged to perfection, hence I look very handsome, this is down to my living an unblemished and sinless life, but then I have always been very good looking, It may seem a bit biased but every morning when I look at myself in the mirror for half an hour I can see I am getting better looking each day.
So while I agree that beauty is internal, in my case I have both.
Hope this helps?

Close enough to it to know that I will occasionally play being a Grumpy Old Woman for the fun of it. Will work the "I am old and cannot do things for myself" card when it suits me. Hopefully will still be living life large till the day I die.

Oh and all my wrinkles were earned in the pursuit of living life to the full. Why waste those precious minutes going under knife or plastering serum every day? So my face will probably look like a twinkly eyed prune!!!

One of the 'grey pride' brigade who fight for social issues with acts of public disobedience like lining up a zimmer framed traffic block as a protest. The police can't manhandle them and they are always very polite, but they cause havoc in their own way. Brilliant. That's how I'd like to be.

If need be, I'll still be fighting. I've no concern for what I will look like.

One gets the face that reflects both what the owner of the face thought, spoke, did; and the face of what others—including brutish monkey people—have done to her.

Does she deserve the brutish treatment from the brutish monkey people? Did she merely choose a hellish life in order to evolve to a higher level? What human can know?

In YOUR opinion, you have aged well. It may be so, but vanity may be at work here.
