I recently went out on a date wearing a cardboard suit, a Uranium top hat and one of those bow ties that flash on and off. My date seemed to find this somewhat amusing. Am I missing something??? Are gentlemen like myself considered an aberration these days?? If so, I intend to cancel my subscription to 'Etiquette And Electro-Convulsive Therapy Magazine' immediately.

My friend, i'm sorry you weren't told this before the date but cardboard is really only for people stuck in the 90's.

Tin foil is the way forward ;)

My dear chap!!That was not laughter on her face. Rather it was a rictus of pain emanating from the electro magnetic flashes given off by your bow tie!

Ummmm, this is weird. How did you sit down in the suit being it was made from cardboard? Maybe that is what turned her off.

well it sounds very dashing to me

i have a friend who thinks a charcoal suit would be perfect for a fireman, because a lit match wont relight, therefore he wouldnt catch fire- perhaps your date was concerned about the potential fire risk- i would go for a charcoal suit next time

I suggest you cancel your subscriptions STAT. They are giving you horrible fashion advice.

No, no, no, I'm sure it was just when you spilt your soup and spoilt a theory about where you'd stashed the batteries.
