Honestly, I believe that both Anaheim and Detroit have a very good chance of beating the Sens this year. Ottawa is a great team with a lot of power defensively and offensively, but if you notice, almost every goal they score is from the Spezza-Heatly-Alfredsson line (actually, all three goals today were from that line!).

While most people would argue that isn't a weakness, against two teams with a solid defense, I believe it is. Anaheim will throw Neidermayer/Pronger at that line while Detroit will have Chelios/Lidstrom out there to shut them down. A team needs scoring from all four lines, not just one.

So Detroit or Anaheim? I'm a Ducks fan so I have to go with Anaheim for the win. Either way, it's going to be an awesome series! :)

Ottawa doesn't want to play Detroit. The Red Wings have experience, more experience, and even more experience after that. Detroit doesn't panic, and they have multiple players on the roster whose names are already embedded on the Cup. The Wings simply have more players who know what it takes to win the Stanley Cup than Anaheim does, so, if I were a Sens fan, I would want Anaheim to win the Western Conference. Good thing I am not though, LETS GO RED WINGS!

Im a Redwings fan but I believe that Anaheim and Detroit both have a good chance against Ottawa. Mochiislove you have a good point with the Alfredsson Spezza Heatley line. I think that if you could slow down (notice I didnt say shut down. for a reason) that line, you have a great chance of winning the series, and I believe that the Wings would do a better job at that than Anahiem, and the reason for that I believe is the X factor for each team. Hasek and Giguere. Anaheim so far in the series has 117 shots and 10 goals. And Detroit has 113 shots and 13 goals. Pretty evenly matched goaltending, with Hasek having the edge (so far). Whichever one of these goalies goes against the Alfredsson, Spezza, Heatley line will in my mind be more of a deciding factor on the defensive side of the puck than Chelios/Lidstrom or Pronger/Niedermayer. Those defensemen may slow down that dangerous line, but Hasek/Giguere are the ones who will have to stop them, and i think that the way they have both played in the playoffs they both possess the ability to do just that.

Oh and Juan B? Exactly what does the Wings weak division have to do with their success up to this point? They have played VERY physical teams in Calgary and San Jose, and have come out on the winning end each series. So I have a couple questions for you Juan B.:

1) If the Wings are so soft, how have they beaten the likes of Calgary and San Jose? 2 very physical teams.

2) If the Wings are no longer playing in their division (hint: this is the playoffs and all), what does their weak division have to do with the fact that they're in the Western Conference Finals? (The tougher of the Conferences some would say).

If you're gonna talk trash about a team, please try and make it at least semi-informed and semi-intelligent. Its fine if you dont like the Redwings, it doesnt bother me at all. But what does bother me is someone who speaks of non-factors (i.e. their weak division), and someone who calls a team soft after defeating some of the most physical teams in the playoffs.

Ok Im done rambling, sorry guys. But sometimes this kind of stuff pushes my buttons.

GO WINGS!!!!!!

I think either Anaheim or Detroit can beat Ottawa.

I'm rooting for Anaheim, but really the two best teams are playing in the west. The Cup finals this year will be decided there.

Ottawa has the best chance of winning. On the obvious point, they are 4 wins away, while the other teams are 6 wins away. But they are just that much better.

Anaheim has the best chance against them. Detroit is soft, and only looks good because they play in the weakest division in the league with a schedule that enhances that benefit.

I don't think Ottawa cares too much who they play. Those higher up probably first want is that the Western Final goes 6 or 7 while they rest up and study the videos. The players will probably want it to start tomorrow. I think, they may want to play Detroit, because it is closer. Faster flight back and forth and no time zone differences, so they can concentrate more on hockey.

Detroit has the best chance of beating Ottawa.

But the truth is, Ottawa doesn't want to play the Western Conference. It's scary for the East...

Neither can beat Ottawa!

Despite what has been said here Ottawa is not a one line team. They have the ability to roll all four lines and if you look back at the whole playoff run all four lines have contributed.

Also, if NJ's Madden - Pandalfo line couldn't stop Ottawa's big line what makes anyone think the teams from the West can.

The Ducks and Wings have two great defencemen who have been logging tons of minutes. Ottawa have six very good defencemen who have played balanced minutes. Add that to the fact that Ottawa has played less games.

Add all this to the fact that Ottawa has only had to travel to Pitt, NJ and Buff. by this point in the playoffs all the time spent travelling wears even the best conditioned players down.

India's possibilities became continually constructive. With currrent indian team, youthful gamers like MS Dhoni, Sreesanth, Raina etc., and the experienced plyers like sachin, rahul, shewag and yuvraj it became constructive that india would be between the final 4 communities of the cricket international cup. yet to win the international cup there could be good no longer ordinary paintings and extreme self belief point between the gamers.
