Will they let him do the policeing course again ?

hey everyone, i was just woundering, last year my friend started the policeing course, he done it for 3 month at uni, but later on something came up and he had to go overseas for few month, now he wants to do policeing again, so i was woundering if any one knows if they would take him again , or dey would rather take people who didnt leave the course,, a guy that works in the police told him that its very hard for them to take him again as he left them ?? is that true ? if any one have any idea plz share it :) thx :)

He probably can if he explains the situation to them, but he might have to wait about a year.
