More than anywhere else, all of the cultures and languages of the world coalesce at an airport.

It could be said that airports are a continually changing piece of art made up of different cultures and languages. It could also be said that an airport is like the heart of the world and the people passing through the world’s blood. With every beat new blood enters in and goes out to be transported to the different areas of the body (world), by the veins (planes). An airport is a microcosm - a sampling of the beauty of diversity in the world.

You might say that an airport is like a microcosm of the world we live in. If you were to take a snapshot of the departure lounge of an international airport, you would see many cultures with all their variety and contradiction waiting with the one purpose....to board an aeroplane. This echoes life on our planet. Our lives may seem disparate on the surface, but in reality, we have but one purpose. And that purpose is to live our lives.

How is that?

I think your sentence is a bit incomplete. Embellish it a little more.. something like.. "An airport, a seemingly simple and everyday place, is actually far more complex, with many diverse cultures and languages from all over the world sprinkled within its ever-changing confines." Hey, that's the best I can come up with at midnight, hehe. :o) Good luck.
