California ranks 34th out of the fifty states in SAT scores. Take out the private school numbers and California has to be near the bottom. Rewriting history books and taking time from teaching the basics to teaching agenda is absolutely counter-productive from an education point of view. From a political point of view, it picks up the endorsement of supporters of gay rights, but is that the role of public secondary education, especially in a state that simply can't get it right educationally?

It's so sad, I wish people, or homophobics would just grow up and start respecting gays, lesbians, or even trans.
I get so sick and tired of it, and it's about dam time someone does something about it.
Hell, I'm gay/transsexual myself and i'm proud of it. I love it and if someone disrespects me and say that I'm a fag or a homo, I would just go up and punch the living hell out of them. Homophobics do not deserve to live. No one's perfect and i hate homophobics.
I was even called a fag or a homo a few times expecially when I was at school. It upset me real bad.

I think a lot of lesbians aren't even real lesbians. Most of them are doing it for attention and think it's "cool"

I dont care what they do behind closed doors really but I am tired of hearing it... I mean we heteros dont have "Straight Pride Parades" and flaunt our sex lives, I think its vulgar for any person of any sexual orientation to flaunt what they do in private sexually.. I have nothing against people of any sexual orientation but I just dont want to hear about what they are doing in the bedroom anymore or see it anymore.. Go get married have kids, dress in whatever kind of clothes you want, have sex however you want but stop pushing it in my face already... whether you are gay, strait, bi or whatever I dont care but I just dont want to hear what you do in bed. Thats what I think..

I dont have a problem with them. They're human beings regardless of what their sexuality is and I respect that.
