I understand the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Manchester United was played in the newly developed Wembley Stadium.

Wembley Stadium was undergoing development for the past 5 years before this.

May I know where was the FA Cup Finals played for the last 5 years then?

the 2007 English FA Cup final between Chelsea & Manchester United was played at the new Wembley Stadium in London. it was the first time the FA Cup final has return to Wembley after 7 years since the last FA Cup was played in 2000.

the old Wembley Stadium was closed after the last ever match was played there in October 2000. it was the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifier between ENGLAND & GERMANY which the visitors won 1-0.

the FA Cup final was played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales from 2001 to 2006 when the old Wembley Stadium closed for reconstruction & redevelopment.
