some people like preserving something from a favorite time in their lives, others wish to keep the odd or unique design alive, still others are only in it for a profit [this saddens] but it does not diminish the properly restored machine, most do it out of somthing close to love and have become artists in their own right

What are vintage cars about? Soul, personality, freedom, in a word, Vintage cars are about LIFE. They teach young kids patience and pride in a job well done while working on them. They encapsule a small part of our history. They bring back fond memories to those who remember them. They create new memories to those who experience them today.

It's just a hobby.

People like me just find them to be very cool because they are unique as they are and can be customized to fit the person, much like painting.

I own a 1971 Buick Riviera and I like it because it is very different.

It's just something you get into and either like or don't like.
