I use a self tanner and drink a lot of water. I wear blush as well. When I look in the mirrror, I look like I am dead. Help please. Oh yeah and I get monthly microderms and exfoliate 2x a week. I also use a very good moisturizer. GRR.

Well self tanners often make is dull and unnoticeable, so try and tan with the sun, and continue with the water but drink Vitamin Water & White Cranberry Juice [nasty but brightens] Other than what I said try to wear bright colors in shirts, light jeans, light make-up [if you use it]

GOOD LUCK =]

I must admit some self tans make my skin dry and dull looking - have you thought about altering the brand you use?...I don't know if it will assist because you say you do get microderms, but I use the two products below from Boots once a week (a microdermabrasion face wash and a hydro sauna face mask) and have found they have really perked my skin up generally - plus when I have just used them I find the results excellent.

Another thing I think is good for a pick me up on skin is benefit dandelion - it gives a very subtle warm tone to your skin. They have testers in boots so you'd be able to try it first. They also do highlighters (high beam is good) and other pick me ups which I like.

And I also put a very subtle amount of blusher in the sockets of my eyes for an instant lift!

Take a break from the microderms - you really only need them in short bursts - say once every week or two for six treatments twice a year. Even they help your skin look good and clear out imperfections, (and feel great!) your skin does need healing time. An aesthetician who gives you one once a month, every single month, is taking advantage of you!

Also, be sure to moisturize every day!

3] drink 1/2 gallon of water a day
4] no fried, fast, or junk food - even diet junk food

Wait, what exactly is the problem?
Is it cuz you're too white? Or is it your makeup?
Use this makeup for a rosy glow:
