Yes, but let me say this. If you have a friend that will tell you the TRUTH, then that person is TRULY a friend and you should really value the relationship. Yes, the TRUTH hurts and you can be offended, but it is an opportunity for GROWTH.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but that is why I duck and run. As for words, they may hurt me, but; they don't have to be true to be painful, only pointed. The truth does not offend me, but, how it is being used against me offends me.

Yes, It really hurt me to notice how much of a meany I was being to my husband and when it was caught on tape that really hurt, I cried and now when I get mouthy or rude I think of that tape. I was told that I was mean just never new how mean till I heard it myself.
