My stance is that abortion, much like gay marriage, is none of my business because it does not affect me in any way shape or form. Personally, if the sex in which my child was conceived was consentual, I would keep the baby, whether it was planned/wanted or not. But to each his own. So, I guess I am pro choice.

Abortion is unethical, immoral, unfair and senseless. It is murder. I think there is no reason at all for abortion, including rape, incest, birth defects and possible death to the mother. How do you justify killing a baby when the baby did not rape you? How can a mother selectively abort her baby because it has a defect, which essentially means it will "require" more of her time and money, but it should still have the chance at life. Ultimately God will take care of all these little ones the way he sees fit. A mother will choose to kill her child if her own life is in danger, isn't that supposed to be the other way around?
Abortion has become a form of contraception. Girls will go out and have premarital sex and have an abortion, even without a parents consent. Abortion should be illegal once again.
If you believe in women's rights then you should also realize that the woman who became pregnant had the right to choose and she most often "chose" to have sex and is therefore pregnant.

I am with abortion and I am also against.
I am against it because to me abortion is murder and it so mean that a baby will never get to make it.
But i am with it because the female should have the right what she wants to do with HER body and also what if the girl got raped! She would not want to have this baby from some strange guy that she hates. So I am not sure which way to go.

Pro choice, all the way. Abortion should be safe, rare, and legal.
Hank Williams said it best, so, to those nosey-azz pro-liars who have nothing to do but judge others and play Bertha Betternyew, "Mind your own business, then you won't be mindin' mine"
Oh, and to the poster who mentioned the bible verse about God knowing someone in the womb? That was one particular prophet, not everyone in general, don't take the verse out of context, dear.

I'm pro-choice... it's MY choice what i do or don't do---should be that way for EVERY woman.... and I get a LITTLE sick and tired of hearing all those PRO-LIFERS say how life is important and all life has meaning but yet, when it comes to EXECUTING a prison inmate, they remain SILENT---if someone is TRULY pro-life--then they should be pro- ALL life and not just the lives of unborn children....it is rather hypocritical to preach that all fetus's are life and deserve their chance to live and then on the other hand, CHEER when some brutal murderer gets put to death.... A death is a death isn't it??? So, until you can say that NOBODY should be PUT to death, then STOP calling yourselves pro-lifers--because you actually are NOT .... you can't be selective. If I call myself a LAWYER, then I best be a LAWYER---you call yourselves pro-lifers--then you best mean ALL life ... Thing is, I'm pro-choice and FOR capital punishment in certain cases....it's MY CHOICE----but at least it is a consistent choice----those so called PRO-LIFERS are not consistent in their convictions....

my stance on a abortion is that the girl better make up her mind before the first month is over.
by then the baby has begun to develop it's heart, brain and lungs.. so it's actually alive by then.
if it where up to me entirely, I wouldn't want abortion at all, but we are all individuals with rights to make our own choices, so we should give women the right to make that choice
but it's still wrong to kill a living being...so if a woman plans to have an abortion...then she should do so before the first month.

Life begins when cells start to divide. Life begins at conception. Abortion is horrendous. The unborn have no rights. And what is saddest, is that the women who are pro-abortion are usually the same women who want to save the whales. The Bible says we are known to God before we are knit in our mother's womb.

I'm pro-choice. I don't necessarily believe in abortion but I think it's a woman's right to choose, I don't think the government should tell her what she can and can't do to her own body. But above all that I'm pro-prevention. I think we should all fight to prevent unplanned pregnancies in the first place so there will be no abortions.

It's murder. Have you ever seen The silent Scream video of a baby being murdered in it's own mothers womb? It's pretty hard to deny that it's murder. Abortion is the only time the government allows you to murder someone because they aren't convenient to you.

against it for these reasons:
~ it is murder
~it is better for a female body to carry it to term
~you dont even have to keep the baby(adoption)
~a very high % of women regret this choice
------
a child is not part of a woman's body no matter how you look at it; if you believe that you are lying to yourself. Sure the child is attached but guess what- they're a person and they belong to themself. personal rights; your body is your property.
