I believe that no one dies until they are forgotten. They're always alive in your memories.

I will never be forgotten by my loved ones. I will also see everyone at some place in time. Dying is actually part of living. We are all going to die. Not yet of course, but then again I might not have a say in that matter. What ever I'll never be ready in the flesh but spiritually I am ready. Have a good day.

Not really and I believe once you cross over to the other side, that what was once important to us here in our lives now,is no longer, and everything is OK,things that we don't understand now,are understood then, and we are re-united with loved ones who have passed on before us who have been watching over us since they have been gone,so I am not afraid of being forgotten here, I just hope all my loved ones are waiting for me at the pearly gates of heaven when I go,that's all I really care about.

I think you always live on in the hearts of your loved ones! After they die though, you probably will be forgotten!

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

People seem to crave notoriety as much as fame - just as long as they are remembered.

Footprints on the sands of time.

It seems to be one of the motivations behind serial killers, politicians and mediocre sportspeople. If I can't be famous, I'll be infamous.

Since having a child and losing my father I have changed my perspective on this, we are all immortal through the people we touch, even if they don't remember.

Only if they forget me right away (with-in the first couple years of my death) Other than that, once my friends and family are dead and I don't leave some kind of legacy behind, I'm totally fine with that. I don't need to be remembered like that. I am only concerned about friends and family.

Absolutely. I've been thinking about death a lot lately, actually, and this is one of the things that is incredibly frightening to me. I don't mean to be selfish, but whenever I think about all of the things I have worked so hard to accomplish in my life, I'd like to think I actually made a difference in the world and that someone would remember me.

No - I am dead. What I am afriad of is not being able to do everything that I want before I die. I know that life is short, and there is some much I want to do.

Yeah everyone whats to be rembembered for their works in this life. I think its pretty much human nature. You always want to be the one with your name in the lights. You want people to say he was a good guy after you die or he was the best athlete.
