People who seek trust must earn trust. Presently our government has not acted in a most trustworthy manner. Lying isn't acceptable out of our public officials and they will feel it next November.

How do you trust a man that blatantly lies to the country. That knowingly and willingly stood up and told this country lies in order to get us into a war that he had been planning for months before 09/11. How do you trust a man that shoves his way into a presidency when popular vote declared he lost? How do you trust a president that will shoulder no accountability for thousands of American soldiers dying or being wounded or the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people because he decided to run a river of blood thru their country? When America has a president that the people legitimately elected and we have someone that will put the wellbeing of this country ahead of their own ego and remember that they work for the American people and not the other way around, then maybe Americans will learn to trust again. Bush and his administration have no credibility. I would trust "Tony Soprano" being president before I would this bunch. And for those that yap about Clinton refusing to "take out" Osama Bin Laden........he was captured when during the Bush administration? It seems odd to me that Al Jazeera knows his every move but the Bush administration can find not one trace. When Bin Laden is captured, then Bush loses his hold of fear on the people. Bush does not want Bin Laden captured.

YES! of course we can.
For instance.. JFKs assassination wasn't a cover up.
Also, politicians aren't lobbied by corporate interest or money to screw over the common people.
Also, big business cares about you, not about money or elite interest. Btw, 5% of the population controls 90% of the wealth in the world, now that engenders faith and trust like nothing I've ever seen. Wake up idiots, you're being shammed everywhere. And the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus love you too.

America has been losing confidence and faith in it's leadership simply because so many mistakes and errors of poor judgement have been made, beginning with the Clinton administration (who can forget the Monica Lewinsky scandal and Clinton's failure to take out Bin Laden?)
Now we have World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz the latest to step down because of his poor judgement in transferring his girlfriend from the bank she worked in to a U.S. State Department job at a tax-free government salary of almost $194,000 a year.
Without going into a long, drawn out dissertation, everything before 9/11 was sound, our economy was strong and Bush's approval rating was high.
Then, all hell broke loose....literally on September 11, 2001.
When President Clinton, Mr. Sandy Berger, and Mr. Richard Clarke refused to take out Osama Bin Laden in the fall of 2000 in Afghanistan (they had 8-10 chances to kill him) a year later we had 9/11 and Bush has been blamed for it ever since.
Had Clinton done the right thing, there would have been no 9/11 and 3000 civilians at the WTC would not have perished, plus over 3400 military lives might not have been wasted in Iraq.
The radical liberal, left-wing pinhead conspiracy theorists who are so quick to spew their venom about Bush, seem to conveniently forget the real reason we are in the mess we have today...inherited by President Bush from the Clinton administration upon his inauguration January 20, 2001.

"In its best state government is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one"
---Thomas Paine
True then, true now. Our forefathers knew government is not to be trusted. And if we wish to keep the liberty they bequethed to us, we had better remember that. fact

There appears to be a large body of evidence that our entire system is becoming dysfunctional. It applies equally to both sides of this silly conservative vs. liberal nonsense that evryone keeps spouting off. They've sold out America and what it is supposed to stand for in a sheer effort to impose their will upon others.
