Yes, it's all the Internets fault! ;o
Many people SIT to unwind, I think it better to be here "thinking" than to SIT and watch television.
What about all the millions of people who's job requires them to SIT in front of a computer? Yikes!
Then...the commuters. They have to SIT,SIT,SIT for hours each day also.
Woe, and then.....the game players....
Overall- I believe people today are more sedentary then ever before in history.
P.S.-where you sitting down when you read this? :D

Well, what is your definition of too long? If I set here for a couple of hours and I wanted to, then I do not see it as too long. Now, if I am neglecting other duties and I set here, yeah, that's too long.

Probably so, although I have been outside lots today. I usually don't get on my computer much until night.

It's all relative to what's too long and to who that applies to. I can only speak for myself and say 'yes I am'.
