You have every right to demand money until your son is 18 years old. some countries 21 or until the child is done schooling.

take him to court if he refuses.

your son deserves the best life possible and that takes both parents supporting the child.

also if it goes to court you can have it set up so that the father has to spend time with the child and a parent should spend a lot of time with their child no matter what the situation is.

That guy down there all hyped up on his rage needs to lay off it. It doesn't matter which parent the child lives with IT TAKES BOTH PARENTS TO SUPPORT A CHILD! and if I had a child and the father had custody you can bet your bottom dollar he'd be demanding money for child support. I'm sorry but that's just the way it is!

I'd say its OCD, with possibly a dash of something else. Some people are just like this (I have a mild case) and it can be very frustrating for others. Make sure he knows he doesn't have to be perfect and try to keep him from hording things. It might help to check out a book about OCD from your library and see if it helps you to understand. There might be ways to help him in there too. Cleanlyness is nice, but if he comes to a point where he cannot move onto a new task until the first is perfect, than it can really interfere with his life. My husband isn't bothered by it much, but the more severe the case, the harder it is on loved ones.

If only a boy friend you must present to the court DNA ties between said B.F. and said child to establish relationship between said 2 parties.I can safely assure you that if said b.f has not stepped up to the plate, he probably will not offer a blood sample for DNA without a court order.Hire an attorney and be prepared for a battle. But once relationship is esablished and proven ,if his new spouse also brings in income as well as his income, the 2 combined incomes could be factored in to what would be rewarded to you as well as the child support being retroactive from said time of separation or from said time of marriage to new spouse.Be sure to check state and county laws for the state in which you petition in.

If it is his child then definately. Also you might can even get back child support. Why have you waited so long to seek it. Your not asking for money because your greedy or something you are doing it help raise the child you both created. You have to do what is best for your son.

does your son have a right? ask this first. Yes, of course, your son has a right to be cared for in anyway possible by his father if his father is willing and able. if the father hasnt been in his life since birth....why begin now? have him sign release papers instead and find yourselves a kind loving that will adopt your son as his own. will make life a whole lot easier for you and your child. eh..its something to think about.

Heck yeah. The ball is in your court. Don't wait another week. Call the authorities. His wife knows he's got to pay up. That's his CHILD. Its for the child, remove yourself and ask.... would you want someone to take care of your son? YES! His DAD! So, he needs to step up financially. Its so sad we have to ask.

Legally married has nothing to do with it. He should have been paying for his son since birth if he is his. Get a family lawyer, they will dock his pay and add in gradual 4 year arrears.

If he is the father and I assume that he is,then you have every right to get child support. Get a lawyer and go to court so that it will be legal and binding. He is responsible until the child is of legal age.

If he is the father then damn right you should seek child support..Why is he not paying it anyway????Does he not care about his kid???If he did he would have offered it without a court order before...Even if he does'nt care about the child you should make him pay,,,If he wanted the sex then he should have been prepared for the result of the sex...He's not a man if he ignores his responsibility for his child...And if he does make him pay the support the child deserves by taking his sorry *** to your local child support office...If you cannot afford to fight him then they will help you fight him...He sounds like a sorry sack of ****....

If that is his child he should have been supporting him since the time he was born. Definitely ask for the support that is way overdue! Does he even spend time with his son?
