This is a very good question. It makes you look back to a favorite grandparent. I had two grandparents when I was growing up, the rest were dead. My grandfather was telling stories about work and he said to me one day:

"I got the job because my prospective employer just passed his hands over my open palm and it was rough.Work hard on everything you do and you will get the job done!!!!"

Way to go grandpa!!! thanks for the question too!!! He died when he was 78 years old.

Before you get all worked up and argue with someone about something, ask yourself one question: Is this really going to make any difference at all a year from now? If not, then don't bother arguing about it. If it will (like a major money decision you will still be paying on in a yr), then it's worth discussing. I bet this has saved my marriage several times. My grandmother said this was her secret to a long marriage.

That no matter how much you love someone they might not be able to be there for you. My Grandparents, the aopteded ones, are dead, I don't know them never have. My biological Grandparents didn't want me and made sure my Mother gave me away. I love them all to my dismay.

My grandmother (from my mothers side) was like "Mother Theresa" she always helped the one in need, I remember her giving food to the poor,or clothes to the homeless and at some point in my life she even gave shelter to one homeless. She always thought us to care for the others, that it was more rewarding give than receive. I have tried to live my life that way, of course sometimes people take advantage of you but...at least you're doing good.

That sometimes the best things in life are a roaring fire in the fireplace, and a couple loaves of fresh baked bread on a brisk autumn day.

(Thanks, Grandpa. I miss you.)

"Red on Black, Friend of Jack, Red on Yellow, Kill a Fellow"

This is how to tell a King Snake (harmless) from a Coral Snake (deadly)

Thanks again Grandma.
