I noticed not all of the girls are on Charm School, like New York for example.

charm school was for the girls that needed to reform themselves, so i can understand why most of these girls were chosen, but i don't understand Courtney.
also, its like a casting thing, they can give you a slot but you have to accept it, and some of the other girls might not have wanted in.
plus because there were so many girls between the two flavor of love seasons you really cant have them all on, the way they did it they are able to focus more attention to individuals
and new york wasn't on the show because she was too busy taping i love new york, which is airing its second season this summer. new york does make a "celebrity" guest appearance on the show though, but in the case of new york why be on a cast when you can have your own show

I believe they started with 12 ladies.
Even Survivor has about 12-14 people.
It is hard in a brief season to get to know all the characters.
So, that could be on reason for the small cast.
And with 12 there would be a redudance in the cast. So they want to pick people that have personality. Also people you will like and people that you will dislike.
I think the balance is good. It is one of the better shows on TV this year.

Not all of them were in need of Charm School but I think that New York needed it more than anyone on the show. She is trashy, classless and a whore.

Probably, because the show only to last a few more weeks.
New York, had her own show. I love New York. I hear she is going to have another show.

New York has her own show and you can only have so many skanks in one building before the building comes down from so much skankiness
