the 2nd person will inherit whatever memories, intelligence and personality traits that are already embedded in the transplanted brain.even if it was possible, i don't think that people would want a brain transplant because who knows what horrible memories and psychological things are inside of that person's brain.it's not just unethical, it's scary.i would not want to inherit someone else's psychological scars and have those memories haunt me or possess unpredictable characteristics.

If you give someone a completely different brain, they will be a completely different person. They will have different memories, a different personality...etc. The brain houses all of the past experiences which help form who you are as a person, just because you put it in another person doesn't mean it changes. And I don't think they can do brain transplants yet, but maybe soon. It seems like it would be a very complicated process, and you wouldn't get much out of it, since you would be a completely different person.

It is not possible under current technology the major problem that nerve endings are so complex rewiring them can't be done. I have heard of a monkey that had its head transplanted to another monkey though the monkey was paralyzed. basically what the scientest had done was hook up all the blood vessels and major organs so that the monkey could survive but was complete incapable of sending or receiveing nerve impulses.

Possible - yes, but technologically not at this time. It would probably not be ethical, however, as what you would be doing is transplanting another person's mind into someone else's body, so the circumstances under which that was ethical would have to be very specific.
