the question is not weather or not you should be a stripper, it weather or not you need to be a stripper. i have friends that have been strippers and have never said that they became a stripper because they wanted to. it has always been out of desperation to support themselves or their families. if you can make your money without subjecting yourself to that life do it. these bars, from what i am told by those who have worked there, are not treated very well and don't always make the money you hear about. the bottom line is you seem to be smart enough to ask questions. so let me try to be good enough to give you a smart answer. become a bar tender and use that to pay your way to become something more than you believe you can be. save your sexiness for someone who deserves it not someone that looks at you like a thing to get off to. you are and can be more. trust me. so the bottom line in this long winded answer is no. don't do it. go t o college. you can do it.

I don't see it as cheap or skanky. If you have the looks and talent, use it. Many people have paid their way through college this way. Many bar tenders or strippers can make a weeks pay or more in one night. Titty bars are topless and if you are not comfortable around perverts and deviants, I would stay away from these.

There are a lot of young women putting themselves through college that way. Just ask yourself if that is a story you would someday want to tell you daughter.
There is nothing at all wrong with it but how do you tell your new boyfriends parents, what if you meet a really nice guy, how do you tell him? People seem to have a very low opinion of strippers, I don't understand why myself, but they do and tend to look at you as if you were a prostitute when you tell them. So, why not work as a cocktail waitress? Great tips, in the same business you are learning, would help you to understand the people who are working the other side of the bar when you graduate.

yes, you would seem cheap and skanky. no offense, but that's just the nature of the business.
and what would you do down the road, when you're too old for it, or don't have the body for it? i've never seen any retired strippers, have you? maybe some sad old wash-outs, but no one who's happy.

Yeah, it would make you seem cheap and skanky. Those places are filled with gross, lonely, and horny men who would drool over you. You'd make good money but at what cost? Keep your dignity and find a better way to make money.

striping is diffcult task. yes your able to make money but you have a bunch of other cost. unless you feel like networking its best to get an agent to scheduled appointments f and take care of you, also you have to pay the "gentalman club" to even get on stage. remember you make the big money with lap dances and VIP treatment. but choose the right clubs becase fancy clubs says top notch girls and cheap clubs say low class girls. i say go for it if you feel like being a flirt

It's good money, you meet lots of people and develop social conscience. Don't listen to the prudes saying no. Only you can affect how you feel, whether it's cheap and skanky or if you feel happy and naked. Did I mention the money?

Have you thought about modeling nude . Lots of photographers (like myself) are looking for people to pose for artistic nudes for their portfolio and will give you copies for yourself to use AND will pay you for it. How quick will you take your clothes off if I flashed $300 in cash in your face ?
