Yes. Scrubs was on the verge of being canceled when it was given a last-minute reprieve. Instead of a normal, 22-episode season, they will have a shortened, 18-episode season. And it was announced that this will be the final season, with the 18 episodes tying up any loose ends.
Scrubs has never been given the respect it deserves.

Scrubs was an amazing show for four seasons... And then it went completely down the drain. Now, instead of witty, in-depth characters, each character is reduced to making desperately un-funny one liners and cheap shots at others. The 7th season had better be the last one!
