The pregnant belly is beautiful! I absolutely cant understand why you would feel this way. You wanted to have children, right? You knew your belly was going to grow like this, correct? If you have a hard time seeing your body change, then why did you decide to get pregnant? You knew you belly would enlarge! There is nothing ugly about a pregnant belly nor does anyone think anything is ugly about it! Accept the belly and live your life! If you are having that hard of a time with the big beautiful belly right now, just wait until after you have the baby..you stomach may look like a road map (stretch marks) and/or you Willl have some extra skin in that area! This is all a part of having children, but it is all worth it--after your child is born, you wil realize that it isn't all about you anymore!

Some ppl do find themselves not so attractive and don't like watching their body expand...That's a shame you feel that way.....Carrying a child is a Gift*..I find pregnant women show a "glow' about them...if they take care of themselves and Enjoy the pregnancy, the baby moving around, kicking away in your stomach, It's definately a wonderful experience. Try to take care of yourself, to feel good when you look at yourself in the mirror instead of feeling how you are right now...hating this pregnancy* Once the baby is born, you eat healthy and exercise..your body will be even better than before you were pregnant*..Try to Enjoy this pregnancy* You and your partner have created a special lil person inside of you..something you both created.....I honestly hope you don't hate going through this~ Best WIshes*

I had a hard time and thought I was ugly when I was looking for a shirt in the closet for my husband when I saw all my "skinny" cloths that I could fit into before I was preg. I even cried! But my husband said I was beautiful no matter what. Also don't forget you will not be pregnant forever and you are beautiful and soon you will be holding your new baby. Just if it gets worse you should see a doctor.

Yes, I felt so ugly and disgusting during my pregnancy. Hormones do really WEIRD things to your emotions. Take it easy; don't talk negatively to yourself. You are creating a human life and when your baby is born it will all be worth it. I know you don't feel beautiful right now, this will not last forever! Go get a pedicure or go shopping for some new shoes or makeup. Take care of yourself if it gets out of control you can talk to a therapist who can help you get things into perspective. Best of Luck to you.

You miht not think it's a beautiful thing what's happening with your body, but you have to admit, it is wonderous. Relax, with a little work after the baby is here, the body will go back to where you are happy with it again. Promise.

yes. one day to the other it changes. noooo... one moment to the other it changes. very normal. never feel guilty. it is natural to wish for your old bod back. but natural too to be awed by your body being a vessel to a growing miracle within you.

Please just concentrate on the beautiful baby that is growing inside of you. The baby doesn't care how you look, and the baby is what is important. Not how you look.
