Hello I suffer from Tourette's Syndrome. I can't help saying around African Americans the "n word" and it's really a big problem I fear they will get violent towards me. I can't help it.

When things are said from someone with Tourette Syndrome it is something they have heard. I have TS and Echolalia, I say what I hear. Now if I had Corprolalia I would probably say "Dang!" because that's what my peers say. I wouldn't say the S word because I like never hear it.So basically surround yourself around people, movies, tv, etc. that do not use the N word, because you'll prevent yourself from saying it because it's impossible to repeat something you've never heard.

Get help in a medical way. I have heard of this beefore. My friend has it, he said to the teacher 'Im just saying miss, if you aint got a husband...im here to give you what you need'. I dont condone it but around him I have to be very tolerant. Just tell them your situation, they may understand
