Yes, I've had.
I came to USA in 2003, and I couldn't speak, understand any English.
Many people teased me that I am FOB.
I was so depressed. I had homesick and stuff
but I guess I am through that phase now..
I tried so hard to catch up with English.
To be honest, I still have a little problem speaking and understanding but I keep trying :)
I read a lot of articles, magazines, watch movie with subtitle which helps me with listening.

I have times when I can't stand to hear another human sound. My brain gets full and I need to relax away from people.
