hey bored, i'm curious. when did it become legal in oregon? the mercy in question took place in oregon and it wasn't legal then.

No, I do not believe in mercy killings. I am sure that many can give good reason for it but, I just cannot accept this practice.

Mercy or not, it is a form of murder and murder is not justifiable!

yea, and its legal in oregon
its pretty grim but you have to look at it from the persons point of view, and their families. do you want someone who IS going to die to die EXPENSIVE and SLOW, or peaceful and easy on ther already grief stricken family. Hospital prices are re god damn diculous.
the pain some people are in is also rediculous, and if they want to end it they should be able to, the government should have no say in anything like that, they got enough to do and they suck at it.
Also think about it if you were stuck under a rock and your guts were all over but you werent dead and someone found you after a few days, Id bet the first thing you would say to them is: Please kill me, kill me now, i beg you.
