Keep in mind that back in 1993, I was only 8 years old. I remember getting into the Jimi Hendrix Experience back then all thanks to a friend in school. Our teacher told us we could bring in a CD of our choice and get to listen one song off of each CD. My friend brought in "Are You Experienced?" by the Jimi Hendrix Experience and had the teacher put on "Foxey Lady". Right away I fell in love with the guitar work of Jimi. Over the years, I discovered other classic bands and artists, and those are all I listen to.

I was into a lot of Tom Wait at the time. I was ahead of the curve on Bollywood/Mideastern music because I took lessons in Eastern dance. The 90's music was kind of a void for me. I liked Radiohead.
