I am going to be taking acting classes. I was wondering, what is an average amount to be paying for a 16 week class?

If you take class through a university or college then you'll pay between $175 to $300 for 16 weeks. Classes taught by private coaches will vary based on their reputation... could be as little as $30 per class to $100+ per class.

It really depends on how long each class is, where you are, the teacher (how well known the teacher is), and other factors. My teacher does 3 hour classes in 4 week blocks and it is $100 for each block. Find out how much they are charging and if it seems like a price you would be willing to pay, go for it. There is no real average amount, it is just are you willing to pay what they ask for.

The price of acting classes is NOT the same in every city in the USA.
Classes in New York City are going to be more expensive than those in, Phoenix, Dallas, Las Vegas, Atlanta, etc.
