I remember that, they called it the McDLT, and it was supposed to rival burgers one would buy in diners and sit-down restaurants.
Unfortunately, it went the way of the vinyl record, obsolete. I guess people want fast food that looks and tastes like fast food.

Yup, the McDLT. It came in the two-sided foam container so the hot side stayed hot, and the cool side cool. lol

Mc D.L.T. The L stands for lettuce and the T for tomato. Man, that brings back memory's. Remember, they kept the top seperated from the bottom to keep the hot side hot and the cold side cold. Those were the days.

u dont say where your from but here in britain we had that burger for a while as a promotion. i cant remeber what it was called but here in britain mcdonalds do promotional stuff from time to time like foods from around the world, where they use burgers that they use in their restaurants in other countries . are you sure it wasnt a promotional thing. its definatly not the big mac like missy says coz big macs dont have toms or onions in the garnish.
