Valparai is a serene and splendid hill station. It is accessible by road from Pollachi. The route constitues 45 km but u come across 45 hairpin bends but the drive will be ace since u come across Aliyar Dam and Monkey falls(20 km before Valparai).Tea plantations with waterfalls is the special thing in Valparai. The drive is a hectic one but a hill station very very worthy. Pollachi is 50 Km from Coimbatore. So,u can get a direct train to Coimbatore or Pollachi and from there u can go by road.Topslip,a wildlife sanctuary is around 50 km Pollachy.
