A friend of mine has a chair that was never used.

It is in excellent condition.

He is in financial need and would like to sell it.

We are putting it on Ebay soon.

If you are interested in helping in any way email me.
We have pics of it as well

Thanks, Kaz

Powerchairs are typically customized to the user's specific needs, so buying one on eBay doesn't seem like a smart idea.
How did he get a powerchair if he never used it? These can be pretty expensive (my insurance paid $45,000 for mine), and I know that my insurance company had to do a thorough assessment of need before approving my chair which they then covered at 100%.
I don't know about the legality of selling a chair that insurance purchased (or if he even got it that way). He might consider donating it to a state or local disability group. It could save him money by being a tax write-off, while helping someone else out too.

People try this all the time where I work, and it rarely does them any good.

Remember- his chair was probably paid for by a third-party source (Medicaid, insurance, etc.), and most people who NEED a chair can get one for free the same way.

Power wheelchairs are a LOT more customized for the need than manual chairs are.

In many states, it is illegal to sell chairs that you yourself did not pay for.

Locally, people are LUCKY to get $200 for a chair that retails at over $20,000 and is barely used.

See if your state has a used chair program he can list with- often with the department of Assistive Tecnologies or something similar.

there is something observed as the E restoration that does this. in addition they have E action wheels the place it continues to be a handbook chair, however the wheels have automobiles in them and once you push them it makes you pass extra.

E-bay is the best solution.
