My cat is asking again about the pet thing?

and her birthday is coming up.... should I let her have the squirrel? Or buy her a wind-up one & tell her it's real?

Aw, what the heck, let her have the squirrel. Her birthday only comes once a year. (Get her the wind-up for Christmas.)

She'll know it's not real... Get her the real thing. It will only last a short amount of time anyway. Prepare the burial site...
