Fish have the basic internal structures of ears and hear basic sounds and can sense vibrations. Their hearing is much like yours is when you firmly place your hands over your ears.

Not as you would call ears. they do hear through vibrations of the water in much the same way we hear through the vibrations of the air. Water transmits sound much better than the air does so a sincet does the job tht is different than your ear.

No, they don't have ears but they do have a sense of sound and location by their lateral line. It's a line running horizontal from the tail to the eyes. It senses sound and if there's any obstacles near them. That's why they don't run into tank walls.

No, the fish have a tiny tinative behind their gill flap that takes in vibrations. thats how they "hear." (when you go fishing, you have to be quiet cause the fish can hear the vibrations.)
