nobody goes by those old-fashioned "dos & don`ts" any more...guys pierce whatever ear they want or both & it doesn`t signify anything in particular!!!

try both sides too make sure lots of people are confused about which side is which. Some one told me elton john periced his right ear so im guessing left is straight

I believe the safest way to not get hit on by gays and avoided by women is to NOT pierce an ear if you are a straight guy. Earrings are for girls, like Trix are for kids.

Anything goes nowadays, but generally, only gay guys get just their right ear pierced.
