Being a guy myself I can maybe help in that area. From my experiences, I always like girls who flirt in some way with me so I know shes attracted to me. So if I decide to go out with her then I know she likes me in that way and it will be easy for me to ask her out. I think for you, it would help if you hint to him that you like him. That would be your best choice so you dont ruin a friendship like you say. I know that when I was in High School, if somebody asks me to go out with them and I say no then she kind of stops talking to me thinking I dont like her lol. I dont want that to happen to you so just hint to him and see if he goes along with it. For me, if Im attracted to somebody and I want her then I'll flirt with her back. But make sure that he does show interest in you. You should want somebody that thinks very highly of you like you do to them. And you will have a great relationship that way.

Katie, heres the real deal!If you cherish your friendship and truly have an emotional thump for this guy.You have to ask yourself, how far are you willing to go.Do you want a relationship with him and ask yourself is He in the same time of space with you. You have the upper hand, you can get the answers to all of these questions before you ever confess your inner self and if not keep yourself and build an even stronger bond with your friend and no one gets hurt. Good luck!!!!

ok, i think you need to talk to him. make sure he knows that you don't want it to ruin your friendship, and if it's not ok with him, you understand and are willing to leave it alone, but say that you thought he should know how you feel. tell him you would like to give it a try going out with him, but if he just doesn't feel the same, that's ok. It is important that you tell him that "you understand" if he turns you down. he most likely likes you, and if you really like him, you shouldn't ignore it. go for it!! Good luck...

Go out to the movies with him and friends. See something that you can scream at. If your scared put your face in his shoulder. You can also just tell him. If he doesn't have to the same feelings for you, then he isn't worth your time. If he starts to act different around you then he isn't a good friend at all.

You should just ask him and tell him that you have some feelings for him.Even if he does not have feelings for you he will stay your friend. If that happens your friendship will get sweeter but yet sometimes fill of "i wonder".

I think you might want to try to give little, little hints that you like him. Try to pay attention to things he does, to see if he likes you, but don't make yourself too noticeable to him. By the way, i have the same problem, but I'm working on it! :)

You seem to have thought this through, which is good. You seem to be level headed. I believe you already know what to do.
