His landmark theory was published at the age of 29, but I think there were earlier papers. Look in Wikipedia.

He was around 26. The year he published his famous papers on the photoelectric effect was 1905, known as the "Annus Mirabilis." Scientists say that this year was as important as the "Annus Mirabilis" of Isaac Newton, 1666.
