If it's community or school theatre, I would say within a day or two at the most. They usually know at the moment whether they are interested in seeing you again, so it's just a matter of making the calls.
For a film project, don't hold your breath. It could be weeks, or never.

Many times, casting notices will not only tell you the date of the audition, but the date of any potential callbacks as well. Callbacks can range anywhere from the next day, to several weeks out. And it's not uncommon to have several callbacks, especially for bigger roles

well, usually its within one month. At all of the auditions I have been to, they tell you when you should be getting a call-back.
