new poem just made up about something deep with little explination... what do you think?
warrior with no enemy

I am a warrior
with no enemy
I am a soldier
an I shall be me

I ain't afraid you
and I ain't afraid of life
I ain't afraid of what I do
and I carry no knife

I fight for something
I fight no body
I have nothing
and I shall be me

I have a past
and I can see
but this contrasts
why I shall be me

I have a future
that I cannot see
I am no butcher
I have become me

The first stanza is OK, but I don't think much of the rest of the poem. Perhaps better grammar would help.

Being a Warrior is a state of mind and body. A Warrior is prepared to spring to a Defensive posture or Offensive posture as a situation demands.

One does not need an Enemy to be a Warrior. One must only be prepared to meet any enemy at any time.

Can't have good without evil, no black withouth white, no dark without light...and what would Superman be like without Lex.

"warrior is a person habitually engaged in warfare"

"War is a prolonged state of violent, large-scale conflict involving two or more groups of people."

The 'very' definition of 'warrior' would imply that there is more than two people or factions involved. Philosophically I guess you yourself could be the warrior and the enemy.

Yes. A warrior is simply a combatant. It isn't necessary for there to be opposition.

war·ri·or –noun
1. a person engaged or experienced in warfare; soldier.
2. a person who shows or has shown great vigor, courage, or aggressiveness, as in politics or athletics.
