My niece is graduating from 8th grade in June. Here is my list of ideas:
An Ipod
Cell Phone
Gift cards (Old Navy, Limited, Target, Kohl's, etc.,.)
Money
Portable DVD player
Camera (video and digital)

just ask for a video game. i got that for my nephew, not too much trouble. just never ask for money. if you dont ask, you'll probably get it on the side.
